Serve as the SW subject matter expert on short term engagements for Lancope’s customer base.
Work with customer network and security operations on SW network design and installation.
Analyze current installation and recommend implementation and fine-tuning details to increase SW effectiveness.
Communicate with customer engineering and management on project details and progress.
Partner with sales team to enhance sales opportunities in customer accounts.
Provide product feature input to product management to influence future development.

6+ years of experience in a services or sales engineering role at a data network vendor, DPI equipment vendor, security vendor, service provider or network security company.
6+ years of related technical experience, installing, designing, managing, administering and supporting an enterprise network.
Proven track record working directly with enterprise customers to implement complex technical solutions.
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Load balancers, proxies and firewalls.
Strong understanding of network security including, DDoS, Firewall, IDS, IPS, anti-virus and common exploits.
Solid understanding of IP network design/operation.
Experience in writing code, scripts, and/or parsers for 3rd party technology integration would be a plus.
Excellent Presentation, written, and verbal skills.
Ability to travel 50
