Conduct comprehensive loss control evaluations for prospective/existing commercial accounts across multiple lines of business, including Property, Liability, Auto, & Workers’ Compensation
Identify hazards, evaluate operational exposures, and recommend practical, data-driven solutions to mitigate loss potential
Prepare clear, detailed reports outlining risk quality, recommend improvements, and suitability for underwriting guidelines
Assist Underwriting in evaluating the quality/eligibility of new business submissions through on-site surveys, virtual assessments, and exposure analysis
Analyze loss trends, claim activity, and operational practices to identify root causes and prevention strategies
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, Engineering, Business or related field (preferred)
Typically requires 5+ years of experience in commercial lines loss control, risk engineering or safety consulting
Experience with multi-line commercial exposures, including property, liability, auto, and workers' compensation
Attainment of professional designations, such as Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
