Drive execution of Upstart’s securitization issuance and asset-backed financing strategy across multiple products
Structure and model asset-backed transactions, including reviewing collateral performance and bond cashflows
Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, lenders, and banking partners
Lead investor discussions, including presenting new products and opportunities with limited historical performance data
Partner with legal, operations, analytics, and accounting to execute transactions and ensure alignment across stakeholders
Present transaction updates, market insights, and funding strategies to senior leadership
Support development of junior team members through coaching and guidance
Requirements
7+ years of experience in capital markets, structured finance, investment banking, or a related field
Experience structuring and executing asset-backed securities (ABS) or other structured finance transactions
Experience building and reviewing asset-level and bond-level cashflow models
Experience presenting investment opportunities, transaction structures, or financial products to institutional investors
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience)
