Advise internal business units and IT stakeholders on requirements, standards and best practices in the material master data domain
Analyze, conceptualize and design master data and governance processes with a focus on SAP MDG-M, taking into account related systems such as SAP S/4HANA, ERP and CRM
Perform functional and technical customizing of material master and MDG processes (e.g. data models, UI, workflows, validations, derivations)
Coordinate and ensure quality in collaboration with internal and external SAP MDG developers during the implementation of requirements
Further develop and harmonize the central SAP MDG system together with the business units as part of a company-wide data governance strategy
Support testing, rollouts and incident/change management, and contribute to defining and establishing standards for material master data, processes and interfaces

Degree in (business) informatics/computer science or equivalent qualification
Ideally several years of practical experience with SAP material master and customizing SAP MDG-M
Strong knowledge of the material master data model and its business context
Experience modeling and implementing governance and approval processes for master data
Understanding of end-to-end processes and the integration of MDG into a heterogeneous system landscape (e.g. S/4HANA, ERP, CRM)
Very good German and good English language skills, written and spoken
