Conducts full cycle recruiting and hiring process for identified positions within ImmunityBio.
Ensure proper process administration in partnership with HR partners and hiring managers and compliance with company policies and procedures, and in compliance of federal and state regulations and laws.
Develops passive candidate pipelines through innovative sourcing techniques and assist in implementing comprehensive sourcing strategies.
Performs searches using multiple online talent platforms and build talent pipelines while using creative recruitment techniques to find hidden prospects.
Conducts appropriate research of the industry and competitors for determination of qualified candidates.
Screens candidates using behavioral interviewing techniques and value-based methodology.
Develops compensation offers for positions using internal guidelines and consultation with hiring managers and the Total Rewards team.
Serves as back-up for coordinating the new hire orientation process, including scheduling the orientation, ensuring accurate new hire paperwork completion and creating the employee file.
Actively educates and participates in the training of hiring managers to ensure consistency of practices, adherence to federal and state regulations and laws and consistency across the organization.
Maintains a solid level of industry knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape.
Serves as an ambassador of the employee experience.
Develops, maintains and adheres to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related discipline is required.
5+ years of progressive professional experience in Human Resources, office management or related field required.
2+ years of experience sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring in a high-volume corporate talent acquisition department required.
Experience using multiple sourcing and recruiting channels including the internet and social media required.
Experience in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, clinical research, or healthcare technology setting preferred.
Solid understanding of employment law, recruitment and staffing metrics and HR related practices.
Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
Verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information.
Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals.
Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs.
Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.
Knowledge of concepts, practices, policies, and procedures, related to field operations and Human Resources preferred.
Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding employment and general personnel practices, recruitment/employment practices, compensation and benefits administration.
Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels of the organization and outside service providers.
