About this role
Role Overview
The voice of Wealthsimple: advocate for clients' financial interests and explain investment and personal finance concepts in simple terms
Strategic problem solving: own the customer journey and facilitate complex institutional transfers
"Builder-Owner" mindset: collaborate across teams and learn how financial tools are built
Scaled expertise: proficiently use multiple applications and platforms simultaneously to deliver novel solutions
Requirements
Proven customer service experience: 1–2 years in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (retail, hospitality, banking, or technical support)
Financial curiosity: a genuine interest in the stock market and personal finance
Tech agility: comfortable navigating multiple browser tabs simultaneously, using Slack for internal communications, and using keyboard shortcuts
Resilience and adaptability: growth mindset and comfortable with a shift-based (rotating) schedule
Full bilingualism: fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, is required
Residency: must reside in Toronto/GTA and have legal right to work in Canada
Availability: available for full-time 8-hour shifts (including weekends and holidays) between 8:00 AM and 8:30 PM
