Develop and maintain pricing models for SaaS offerings, incorporating usage metrics, value-based analyses, and bundling strategies to optimize revenue and customer adoption and bundling strategies
Conduct competitive benchmarking and market research to identify pricing trends, positioning opportunities, and best practices
Analyze customer usage, churn data, and revenue forecasts to recommend pricing adjustments and packaging optimizations
Collaborate with Product and Sales to create new pricing strategy, and features that align with market demand and business goals
Build and update financial models to project revenue, gross margin, and lifetime value under various pricing scenarios
Partner with the broader Finance team to integrate pricing assumptions into the corporate budget, rolling forecast, and board reports
Evaluate the financial impact of pricing changes on ARR, MRR, and customer acquisition/retention metrics
Support go-to-market launch of new subscription tiers, ensuring pricing is communicated clearly across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
Requirements
5+ years experience in financial analysis, preferably in a high growth SaaS company
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
Experience in SaaS business models, including subscription-based revenue structures with strong analytical skills
Prior experience building pricing models in collaboration with Sales and Product teams is strongly preferred
Advanced spreadsheet model building skills are essential, Microsoft Excel user (nested formulas, modeling, pivot tables, etc.), and experience with Google Suite
Familiarity with NetSuite ERP and NetSuite Planning and Budgeting (NSPB) software preferred but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting goals and deadlines
