Associate Director, Medical Scientist

Role Overview

• Identify national, regional, and local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) involved with cardiovascular care
• Maintain and broaden professional relationships with HCPs in institutional care centers
• Contributes to / leads Congress Planning activities
• Serve as a scientific expert at key medical and scientific conferences
• Maintain a high-level of scientific knowledge and understanding about disease state and treatment guidelines
• Work with Medical Affairs and other internal colleagues on initiatives including medical information and publications
• Provide support to our clinical development programs

Requirements

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, or MD/DO, MS, PA, ARNP) preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of CV MSL experience for Associate Director Medical Scientist
• CV experience in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is preferable
• Must be analytical and articulate in both oral and written communications
• Must possess knowledge of the Medical Science Liaison roles and responsibilities
• Comply with all credentialing requirements for any healthcare institution
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications
• A valid US Driver’s License and good driving record are required
• Ability to travel both domestically (~30%-50%) and internationally on occasion
