Role Overview
- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating the design and engineering between various engineers for the customers’ process, equipment and installation.
- Perform estimating, bidding and subcontract procurement on projects.
- Reviews and approves invoices.
- Assist the Project Manager with coordination and scheduling of construction management activities on projects.
- Develop, maintain and report project status to the customer.
- Assist the Project Manager in developing project proposals.
- Create and maintain departmental electronic files, forms, and brochures.
- Organize and maintain file system, and file correspondence and other records.
- Coordinate and arrange meetings and events, including preparing agendas, reserving and preparing facilities, and transcription of meeting minutes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university – Architecture, Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Construction Management Degree
- Ideal experience is working on commercial construction projects OR experience within distribution or industrial environments.
- Basic computer skills including the ability to utilize Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), tablets and smartphones.
- Working knowledge of scheduling applications is a plus.
- Energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment.
- Ability to lead by example and follow all instructions provided by the PM team.
