Role Overview
- Direct management of complex network fiber projects
- Oversee delivery of ISP fiber infrastructure for Customer Data Center build
- Act as the main point of contact between internal teams and Customer
- Provide project status updates to internal leadership and Customer
- Develop, maintain, and manage master project schedule
- Coordinate daily and weekly work activities across teams
- Conduct ongoing risk identification, analysis, and mitigation planning
- Plan and manage workforce requirements
- Oversee financial performance including budget tracking and forecasting
- Manage procurement processes and prepare Change Orders
- Ensure project documentation and compliance requirements are maintained
- Monitor quality, safety, and performance standards
- Apply project management methodologies aligned with PMP framework
- Drive issue resolution and keep project on schedule and budget
Requirements
- Must have 4 years familiarity with all types of outside plant fiber engineering
- 5+ years managing Fiber Infrastructure Deployment
- PMP or equivalent certification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Expert in fiber optic network maintenance
- Extensive experience in maintaining outside plant networks
- Familiarity with communications cabling products and fiber optic cable
- Strong ability to estimate labor effort and material requirements
- Excellent knowledge of fiber splicing methods and related documentation standards
- Experience with Visio, Bluebeam Revu, or Revit a plus
