Senior Accounting Analyst – Financial Statements

Role Overview

• Monitor changes in international accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP) and local standards (CPCs), assessing practical impacts on the company;
• Prepare technical memorandums documenting accounting positions for complex transactions;
• Ensure internal accounting policies are up to date, aligned with applicable standards, and well documented;
• Serve as the technical point of contact for external auditors, providing accounting rationale and supporting documentation;
• Act as an internal consultant to the accounting and controllership teams, training the team on regulatory updates;
• Develop and maintain an up-to-date accounting policy manual that is aligned with the other companies in the group;
• Prepare balance sheet and income statement analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (diploma or proof of graduation);
• Intermediate to advanced English;
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills;
• Solid experience in technical accounting and/or external audit;
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and CPCs;
• Practical experience in consolidation of financial statements and complex transactions;
• Ability to draft well-structured technical memorandums with normative references;
• Excellent writing skills, with mastery of different formats and tones (institutional, editorial, inspirational, and technical);
• Hands-on experience with the activities described.
