About this role
Role Overview
Own and nurture customer relationships in a team-based selling model
Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies
Increase case growth and acquire new business through effective sales presentations
Collaborate with Specialists and internal departments to ensure seamless product delivery
Identify prospective customers utilizing market intelligence and business directories
Troubleshoot delivery issues and manage problems during the order process
Share market conditions and competitor information with customers
Requirements
1+ year of sales experience preferred
HS Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with good standing motor vehicle record
Foodservice industry experience preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to build relationships and cold call for new business
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving ability, organization and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus
Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs
