Provide strategic support and recommendations for the development of marketing, business development, and client plans for various practice groups, sector groups, market groups, and strategic issue groups
Contribute to the execution of go-to-market strategies and targeted initiatives
Lead and/or support the execution of business development initiatives, including sponsorships, conferences, directory and awards submissions, creation and updating of marketing materials, and related tasks as needed
In collaboration with Research, Client Service & Innovation (CSI), and Finance, compile and analyze competitive and commercial intelligence reports to support practice groups, industry groups, and client teams in their business development efforts
Assist lawyers and the Clients & Markets team in responding to client requests for firm information, including capability documents, fact sheets, and lists of matters
Regularly identify and submit significant matters to the Transactions and Mandates team for use in pitch materials, rankings, the website, award applications, and marketing collateral
Track business development and marketing activities and information in various databases, including Salesforce
Contribute to our Net Promoter Score (NPS) program by collecting and recording important client feedback
Support the Marketing Solutions team by routing requests to the appropriate functional teams, facilitating updates to lawyer profiles, and providing other services as needed
Perform other relevant duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a professional services environment
Bilingual in French and English (required)
Proficiency with the MS Office suite; ability to quickly learn and leverage new technology solutions
Prior experience with Salesforce and SharePoint (an asset)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize while meeting tight deadlines
