Role Overview
- responsible for interviewing, screening, and extending offers to potential field and office employees
- assists the Talent and Workforce Management functions in the successful implementation of various departmental initiatives and programs
- conducts presentations at high schools and technical schools
- establishes and maintains relationships with area schools
- attends various recruiting events
- performs searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria
- screens and refers applicants to hiring personnel
- interviews applicants for posted and future employment opportunities
- maintains current knowledge of various HR laws, practices, procedures, and trends
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communication, or Business
- One year of Human Resources experience or An Associate’s degree
- Two years administrative experience in Human Resources
