Lead APQP execution across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico
Ensure accurate interpretation and flow-down of customer requirements (prints, specs, ASTM standards)
Oversee: Feasibility reviews
Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEAs) and Control Plans
Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions and approvals
Partner with sales on complex OEM opportunities to assess manufacturability and risk
Align internal operations and external processors to meet customer expectations
Drive reduction in quality escapes, Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), and cost of poor quality
Lead and develop APQP Engineers
Travel expectations across North America approximately 30-40%

5-7+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, APQP, or supplier quality
3+ years’ experience in proven leadership and cross-functional influence
Demonstrated experience with: Blueprint reading & Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plans
Experience in machining, fabrication, or metals processing environments
Background supporting OEM or Tier 1 customers
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial) or equivalent technical experience
Preferred certifications: Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, GD&T, APQP Core Tools
