Role Overview
- Lead and develop a distributed technical team, ensuring alignment with global engineering standards and high-quality delivery
- Integrate newly hired engineers into existing teams and workflows
- Establish and enhance delivery predictability, engineering quality, operational excellence, and cross-region collaboration
- Build local culture by promoting ownership, transparency, collaboration, and technical maturity
- Provide technical direction across multiple disciplines (Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Security)
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, and Service Delivery
Requirements
- Experience leading engineering teams in distributed or remote environments
- Strong foundation in modern engineering practices including: CI/CD, Testing, Observability, architectural decision-making
- Ability to guide multidisciplinary teams (Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Security)
- Knowledge of agile principles, architecture and security standards, and compliance practices
- Fluent English and availability to travel to São Carlos/SP when needed
