Relay Engineer II

Role Overview

• Capable of acting as Lead Engineer on moderately complex studies and settings projects.
• Responsible for conceptualizing the initial design approach for a major phase of a large project.
• Exercises judgment in the independent evaluation selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques.
• Prepares and verifies calculations using engineering formulas and application specific software as required.
• Manages personal task assignments to ensure adherence to scope, schedule and budget.
• Performs technical and coordination checking/ review of deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelors or better in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years: Experience collaborating with both internal and external customers is required.
• Experience in the specific software below is preferred: PSCAD, MathCAD, SKM, CAPE, ASPEN, acSELerator (SEL-5030), ETAP, Siemens PSS E.
• Prof Engineering (PE) required.
• Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help.
