Holistic project management: responsible for planning and delivering projects on time and within budget in the area of substations and large-scale battery storage.
Trade coordination: management and coordination of all involved contractors and service providers.
Interface management: central point of contact for all stakeholders.
On-site presence: quality assurance on site and monitoring compliance with project standards and quality requirements.
Risk management: identification of technical, schedule and financial risks and development of appropriate countermeasures.
Monitoring compliance with safety standards on construction sites.
Ensuring transparent project control through regular reporting on costs, progress and KPIs.
Requirements
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a comparable technical discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification.
Demonstrable project experience in at least three energy projects as a Project Engineer or Deputy Project Manager, and experience as the responsible Project Manager in at least one energy project.
Solid knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., VDE, DIN, EnWG) as well as permitting procedures.
Ideally an established network with German grid operators, suppliers and service providers.
Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken, and business‑fluent English.
Strong negotiation skills, leadership ability, conflict resolution skills and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
Willingness to travel extensively within Germany to support project sites.
Ability to interpret project KPIs, identify optimization potential and derive appropriate measures.
