About this role
Role Overview
Build a cross-functional team with our CTC (Convergint Technology Center) sellers specific to each customer assigned, build a plan, cadence, and accountability feedback
Develop and implement strategies to increase market penetration of enterprise utilities security solutions, products & services
Work closely with other CDC resources such as Service Sales, National Operations, Vertical Markets, Legal, and Utilities Vertical teams to optimize solution offerings and operations to improve the customer experience and Convergint profitability
Identify new business opportunities and partnerships with utilities organizations on defined target list
Maintain high level decision maker relationships with key customers while developing and executing strategic growth plans
Maintain deep knowledge of Physical Security (PhySec) technologies
Drive high level relationships with key customer contacts, especially at the executive level of customer’s corporate entities
Establish and renew key customer contracts and agreements with corporate entities
Provide leadership in coaching colleagues, reviewing proposals, and ensuring adherence to strategy and contracts
Regularly meet with leaders to review progress toward growth goals
Undertake other tasks as necessary to support Convergint’s utilities vertical and company-wide objectives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher
8+ years in sales
Proven track record of selling complex solutions to enterprise level customers – ideally large utilities customers
Experience in the security & integration business
