Monitor compliance with Reporting Requirements: Collaborate with local financial teams to ensure timely and accurate annual report and tax filings. Act as liaison between the local teams and external firms to resolve outstanding issues.
Develop & Implement Compliance Programs: Create and roll out comprehensive compliance programs and internal infrastructure to meet all financial regulations.
Conduct Audits & Risk Assessments: Lead and maintain annual Risk Assessment. Manage relationship with outsourced internal audit staff to design and execute internal audit functions and risk-based compliance testing to identify, monitor, and correct non-compliance.
Review Reconciliations: Review non-US reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Monitor Regulatory Changes: Stay informed of new and amended regulations, assessing market trends and forecasting changes that could impact the organization.
Investigate Incidents: Manage the investigation and resolution of compliance issues and incidents, ensuring timely and appropriate follow-up.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex initiatives
Ability to maintain confidentiality, delivers and follow instructions, and possess an attention to detail and ability to work accurately
Ability to analyze complex information and assess risks
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and possess ability to navigate and use other web-based systems as necessary
