Property Manager

Role Overview

• Ensure all Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations are adhered to
• Collect and Deposit rent within 24 hours of collection
• Provide outstanding service to residents, resolving inquiries, work orders, and requests in a timely manner
• Maintain and build applicant waiting list
• Ensure property stays on budget through cost effective practices
• Conduct initial lease process with certification and annual re-certification
• Supervise property staff and outside vendors
• Organize community activities
• Be on call for after-hours emergencies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of affordable housing experience with LIHTC, or Section 8
• Solid understanding of Fair Housing
• Skilled in income qualification, tenant file accuracy, and regulatory compliance
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong competency in Microsoft office suite and familiar with learning new software
