About this role
Role Overview
Strategic and operational management of international DIY customers, with a focus on Germany and Austria
Act as the central point of contact for customers, shaping long-term partnerships and identifying new business opportunities
Maintain existing customer relationships and drive their strategic development
Identify and realize potential for new business relationships
Develop tailored proposals and innovative marketing concepts
Manage projects with a high degree of personal responsibility and creativity
Plan and conduct commercial terms negotiations and annual review meetings
Manage, optimize and develop the product assortment
Monitor the market and analyze competitor activities
Develop growth strategies in collaboration with internal teams
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Key Account Manager in the DIY sector
Proven track record in building and developing customer relationships
Strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking and a strong customer orientation
Completed degree or vocational qualification in business administration (or a related field)
Solid IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
Experience with additional data analysis tools
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
High self-motivation, numerical affinity and good understanding of processes
Fluent German and English, including negotiation-level proficiency
