Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in Health Information Management
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Coding Professional (CPC)
- Excellent knowledge of disease and procedure classification systems
- Strong database computer skill in intermediate logic design
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, disease processes, surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Outpatient Facility Coding experience
- Knowledge of Evaluation and Management coding and professional billing
