Role Overview
- Lead legal, regulatory, and compliance functions across U.S. and Bermuda insurance operations
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the business
- Oversee a high-performing legal and compliance organization
- Manage budget and outside counsel spend
- Provide legal and regulatory leadership across U.S. and Bermuda insurance operations
- Oversee negotiation of insurance and commercial agreements
Requirements
- 10+ years of in-house legal experience
- Extensive knowledge of U.S. state and national insurance regulatory frameworks
- Proven experience advising on producer agreements, insurance distribution, and complex regulatory matters
- Significant M&A and reinsurance experience
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing legal and compliance teams
- US Work Authorization required
