Build strong partnerships by understanding customer’s business needs, challenges, and goals, and act as the primary point of contact to ensure timely and effective communication
Plan and execute account strategies, develop strategies to capture new business, and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
Steer and lead account-specific actions and initiatives
Drive sales growth by pursuing new opportunities within strategic accounts, negotiating contracts to maximize revenue and profitability, and monitoring account performance with regular updates to internal stakeholders
Enhance customer engagement and loyalty through transparent communication, implementing governance models, and ensuring smooth collaboration from the start of the relationship
Coordinate cross-functional efforts by working with different internal stakeholders, such as local sales teams and technical support teams to ensure seamless customer service and support for the strategic accounts
Navigate complex customer ecosystems, often spanning multiple countries and regions, while aligning Kempower’s offering with diverse needs
Requirements
Relevant educational background e.g. in Engineering, Business or equivalent
Strong experience in key account management and business development, preferably with international key accounts
Previous experience and understanding of EV DC-charging industry and its market dynamics
Proficiency in data analysis to analyze client data and account metrics
Experience with Salesforce and using data as a tool to plan, make informed decisions and steer different stakeholders
Confidence in engaging in technical discussions and turning them into meaningful business opportunities
Ability to lead and influence, build trust and collaboration among clients and internal teams
A track record of successful negotiations that deliver both customer satisfaction and business growth
Strong communication skills for interacting with external and internal stakeholders
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong accountability for results while maintaining alignment with mutual goals
A customer-focused, proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Must have excellent English skills and fluency in both written and spoken German.
