About this role
Role Overview
- Analyze and develop system projects, from elicitation through implementation
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements
- Map processes and perform logical and physical data modeling
- Develop solutions aligned with business rules
- Analyze the performance of systems in production and propose improvements
- Identify and resolve technical issues
- Prepare documentation and technical manuals
- Coordinate and guide development (programming) activities
- Develop and execute test scripts in KDZ
- Maintain and evolve systems in a mainframe environment
- Manage requests and track deliveries with quality and efficiency
- Actively participate in agile rituals (Kanban and Scrum)
Requirements
- Experience with development in a Mainframe environment
- Knowledge of languages:
- COBOL / COBOL CICS
- Natural / NaturalONE
- Experience with DB2 databases
- Knowledge of SQL and VSAM
- Experience with structured systems analysis
- Experience with data modeling using CASE tools (ERwin)
- Development and execution of tests using KDZ
- Experience with agile methodologies (Kanban and Scrum)
- Experience managing and tracking requests in development platforms
- Knowledge of algorithms and advanced programming logic (desired)
- Experience with highly complex legacy systems (desired)
- Experience in large corporate environments (desired)
- Experience improving system performance (desired)
