Role Overview
- Lead the Systems Development organization
- Manage technical leads and their teams
- Establish processes, working methods, and development governance
- Define and monitor system roadmaps, releases, and technology changes
- Ensure software engineering best practices, version control, and code quality
- Oversee development projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality
- Support technical and strategic decision-making with senior leadership
- Promote integration across cross-functional teams, support, and clients
- Manage costs, resources, and technology investments
- Drive technology modernization initiatives, cloud adoption, and new solutions
Requirements
We expect you to have
- Experience as a Systems Development Manager
- Prior experience as a Software Developer
- Experience managing technical teams in medium to large companies
- Experience in code management, version control, and roadmap definition
- Experience overseeing software development projects
- Experience with scalable and secure software architecture
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Experience with DevOps and Cloud
It will be a plus if you have
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in managing technology costs and resources
- Experience interacting with support, consulting, and client teams
- Experience working in hybrid environments
- Experience with information security applied to development
- Knowledge of educational and HR business models
- Experience with projects involving AI applications
- Experience with emerging development technologies
- Technical or management certifications
- Knowledge of containerization tools and code quality platforms
- Advanced or fluent English
