About this role
Role Overview
- Lead commercially focused market entry and growth support for New Zealand Defence and Aerospace companies targeting Europe
- Apply deep sector knowledge and networks to open doors, validate opportunities and shape realistic go-to-market strategies
- Support New Zealand companies working with Defence and aerospace primes and contractors
- Work closely with NZTE BDMs across Europe to lift sector capability and commercial realism
- Provide practical guidance on procurement and customer expectations
- Help customers navigate market entry and scaling pathways
- Build a customer portfolio as new Defence and Aerospace exporters enter the European market
- Represent NZTE professionally across the Defence and Aerospace ecosystem
Requirements
- Deep, credible Defence and/or Aerospace experience in Europe
- Significant, hands-on experience in the Defence and/or Aerospace sector
- Experience working with Defence or aerospace primes, tiered supply chains or Defence procurement or capability organisations
- Proven track record supporting commercial outcomes
- Comfort operating in complex, regulated and high-pressure environments
- A practical, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset
- Right to live and work in Germany
