About this role
Role Overview
Accelerate the sales growth of Agilent's Global Strategic Customer Program
Establish Agilent as the preferred laboratory partner
Build close relationships with external thought-leaders and executives
Develop and execute an overall "One Agilent" strategy
Partner with local sales teams to improve organizational competency and effectiveness
Initiates innovative business development strategies
Collaborate across the business to translate customer requirements
Manage complex global negotiations to yield the best value for customers
Requirements
Bachelors or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field (advanced degree preferred)
8+ years in a sales based role with growing levels of responsibility
Experience in service delivery, informatics, laboratory productivity services, consumables, compliance / regulatory consulting, biopharma, financial modeling
Sales Management experience highly preferred
Global background preferred; understands and appreciates cultural differences and global organization complexity
Proven track record of applying a customer-focused, consultative sales approach
Global account management/enterprise sales skills
Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills
Ability to travel, greater than 30% of the time, both domestically and internationally
Project management experience
In-depth skills acquired through advanced training, study and experience and internal recognition in specialty
