Deliver onsite and on call technical and operational support for multiple mission systems, including system administration, monitoring, and health checks.
Perform troubleshooting and corrective actions for hardware, software, network, and system performance issues.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, including patching, updates, configuration changes, and system optimization.
Provide user support and training for system access, basic operations, and issue resolution.
Collect, maintain, and update operational logs, incident and deficiency reports, and operational checklists.
Perform incident response activities, including initial triage, escalation, coordination, and documentation of resolution.
Execute backup and restore operations, ensuring data integrity, availability, and compliance with mission and security requirements.
Support system administration and database activities as needed to maintain mission systems and associated services.
Oversee procedural compliance and ensure all records, logs, and reports meet required operational, security, and audit standards.
Act as a technical resource for performance optimization, data integrity, role continuity, and support of management status reporting.
Coordinate with operations management, configuration management, logistics, and engineering teams to support system changes, upgrades, asset tracking, and disposition.
Requirements
11+ years of experience in systems or network administration, systems support, or related technical roles in a secure, mission critical (DoD or similar) environment.
Solid understanding of property accountability practices, asset tracking, and inventory management systems in a technical or laboratory environment.
Proven skills in asset cataloging, recordkeeping, and disposition planning for government or defenserelated equipment.
Experience coordinating with operations management and supporting configuration management requirements (e.g., tracking configuration items, maintaining inventories).
Demonstrated attention to detail and compliance orientation to support audit readiness and process documentation.
Knowledge of safety, handling, and secure storage of sensitive or classified assets is advantageous.
Experience supporting incident response, backup/restore, and user support in an operational setting is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, OR Equivalent DoD/Military training in systems administration, network operations, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum: Active TS/SCI clearance required to start.
