Provide on-site installation, diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems
Instruct customers in operation and maintenance of systems
Enhance account profitability through efficient service execution, identify revenue opportunities
Maintain assigned assets including tools, telecommunication equipment, and service parts inventory
Report improvement opportunities for product quality via the quality notification process
Complete administrative tasks including time reporting and assigned training
Maintain training and compliance in health and safety, security, and environmental aspects
Requirements
BA Bachelor Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline; OR Associate Degree in same fields with 5 years direct experience; OR High School Diploma with 7+ years direct experience
3 years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment
Detailed knowledge of analytical equipment, laboratory environment, and/or instrument control software
Vendor issued certification on relevant laboratory equipment
Knowledge of laboratory safety practices as defined by the Company and/or the customer’s site safety code
Ability to travel by air, vehicle and/or other means of transportation as business requires (typical travel up to 50%)
Valid driver’s license and safe motor vehicle operation.
Must be able to work in a laboratory, controlled environments requiring personal protective equipment
Experience with MS Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
