Manage and review all trust documentation (authorizations, liens, releases, and disbursement materials) to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
Partner with law firms to gather missing information, resolve discrepancies, and ensure claimant files are fully prepared for disbursement.
Coordinate with the Disbursements team to confirm readiness, track payment statuses, verify details, and support issue resolution.
Perform quality control reviews to validate claimant data, allocations, calculations, and supporting documentation prior to distribution.
Maintain and update internal systems, ensuring all records, data, and documentation are accurate, audit-ready, and properly tracked.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Management, Claims Operations, Data Services, and Finance to meet timelines and ensure high-quality execution.
Prepare and deliver reporting on claimant readiness, documentation status, and overall disbursement progress, identifying trends and risks.
Provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders, clients, and Trustees while maintaining detailed logs and compliance records.
Deliver a high-quality experience to claimants and law firms through professionalism, responsiveness, and strong attention to detail.
Requirements
1–3 years of paralegal or legal support experience, preferably in mass tort, claimant-based work, or settlement distribution processes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy under fast paced conditions.
Critical thinking and issue spotting abilities.
Experience working directly with law firms or claimants is strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent relevant experience.
Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook.
