About this role

Monitor the performance of operational controls and manage security controls
Respond to threats to protect the bank from potential cyber-attacks
Management and analysis of security monitoring systems
Triage data loss prevention alerts to prevent sensitive data exfiltration
Manage cyber security incidents including remediation and closure
Deliver threat analysis and produce intelligence reports for senior stakeholders
Collaborate with teams and partner with other functions

Understanding of Cyber Threat Intelligence and its role in protecting organisations
Ability to clearly explain the Strategic impact of Cybersecurity on the financial sector
Strong communication skills, including ability to prepare reports and presentations
Proven ability to write for executive audiences and demonstrate strong strategic thinking
Solid understanding of the financial sector threat landscape, including cybercrime trends
Knowledge of common attack vectors and threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
Understanding of key security controls and their mitigation across attack surfaces
Experience working with threat intelligence platforms
