Manage a portfolio of client projects from handover to completion
Define timelines, milestones and deliverables
Ensure all work is delivered on time and within scope
Manage client relationships
Act as the main point of contact for clients post-sale
Run kickoff calls and ongoing check-ins
Handle feedback, revisions and approvals with clarity and professionalism
Lead and support a small team
Manage and develop a team of 2 client services team members
Provide clear direction, support and accountability
Ensure consistent ways of working across projects
Coordinate internal teams
Work closely with editorial, design and production teams
Translate client needs into clear, actionable briefs
Keep projects moving and resolve issues quickly
Drive quality and improvement
Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations and internal standards
Refine workflows, playbooks and processes to improve efficiency and consistency
Use data and feedback to improve delivery over time
Maintain strong scope control and protect project margins
Identify opportunities for repeat work and project expansion
Work with account managers to support renewals and growth
Use AI tools to improve efficiency across project management, communication and workflows
Support the adoption of new tools and ways of working across the team
Requirements
At least 3 years’ experience in a client-facing delivery, account management or project management role, ideally in an agency, media or content environment
A degree in biology, chemistry or a related scientific discipline
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
Confident communicator, comfortable working with both clients and senior internal stakeholders
Commercial awareness, including scope control and identifying growth opportunities
Experience managing or mentoring team members
Comfortable using AI tools and open to adopting new technologies
