Lead strategic sourcing processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ), ensuring the best commercial, technical and contractual terms;
Manage large-scale, high-criticality contracts, ensuring performance, compliance and adherence to established SLAs;
Develop and implement category strategies focused on cost reduction, value generation and innovation;
Conduct complex negotiations with suppliers, balancing cost, quality, lead times and risk;
Collaborate with operations, engineering, legal and finance to build efficient contractual models;
Monitor supplier performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans when necessary;
Identify opportunities for leverage, supplier consolidation and economies of scale;
Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance and legal requirements;
Track market trends and develop procurement intelligence for the category.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or related fields;
Solid experience in Procurement/Sourcing, preferably in mining, heavy industry or similar sectors;
Experience managing large contracts and conducting complex negotiations;
Experience contracting services such as material handling (tailings and ore), equipment rental and specialized labor;
Knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management and market analysis;
Experience preparing and analyzing technical scopes and conducting supplier quotation processes;
Familiarity with governance, compliance and contractual risk management practices;
Knowledge of standards and regulations applicable to Procurement;
Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP;
Intermediate or advanced English will be considered a plus.
