Execute and oversee tax compliance (VAT, CIT, local taxes) across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Manage tax calculations, reconciliations and alignment between accounting and tax positions during monthly and yearly closings.
Actively participate in audits, providing explanations, supporting documentation and anticipating potential adjustments.
Partner with Investment and Development teams to analyze investment scenarios from a SOCIMI tax perspective (asset deals, share deals, structuring alternatives).
Secure a well-functioning cooperation with the Asset Mgmt and Property Mgmt peers. (e.g.: CAPEX tracker, OPEX reconciliation, SC continuous follow up, POs monitoring...) adding value through proactive support and process improvement.
Assess tax implications of new projects, acquisitions and divestments, identifying risks, opportunities and constraints early in the process.
Support decision-making by modelling and explaining tax impacts on returns, cash flows and structuring options.
Analyze non-standard transactions and ensure proper tax treatment aligned with business reality.
Requirements
Strong tax knowledge combined with hands-on experience in compliance, closings and audits.
Ability to manage high-volume, multi-entity environments with rigor and ownership.
Strong analytical skills to identify non-standard situations and assess tax impact.
Business partnering mindset, working closely with investment teams and translating tax into decision-making inputs.
Accountability and ownership of topics end-to-end, while working collaboratively across teams.
