About this role
Role Overview
Assist in the development and execution of the US Medical Affairs strategy across the AiCuris antiviral portfolio, encompassing marketed and pipeline products.
Oversee field medical strategy and operations for pritelivir, including the US MSL team and the Medical Affairs Fellowship Program (beginning July 2026).
Provide leadership and strategic oversight for medical communications and manage relationships with vendors providing medical communication services, and medical information services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Market Access) to ensure integrated launch readiness.
Work with cross functional teams to develop AiCuris “Areas of Interest” to provide direction for investigator-initiated study programs and manage medical grants program.
Create training programs and educational materials for the US MSL team.
Establish metrics and systems to measure medical affairs impact and to present these metrics to senior management.
Act as the lead with potential global partners who will educate and market pritelivir outside the United States.
Requirements
PhD, PharmD, or DNP in a clinical or scientific discipline.
15+ years of Medical Affairs experience in roles with increasing responsibility and accountability for medical affairs strategic planning & tactical execution.
5+ years of experience leading Medical Affairs teams across multiple products or within complex therapeutic areas.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing medical strategies for both marketed and pipeline assets.
Deep understanding of medical engagement, regulatory environment, field medical operations, and scientific communication.
