Strong understanding of Challenger Sales and MEDDIC principles, with the ability to apply them to account growth and customer success.
Skilled at identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding customer goals and aligning them with YugabyteDB’s capabilities.
Hands-on approach to managing customer relationships—balancing strategic account planning with day-to-day responsiveness.
Requirements
5-8 years of experience maintaining healthy pipelines of renewal and expansion opportunities through effective qualification and follow-up.
Ability to communicate and reinforce YugabyteDB’s business value to both technical and executive stakeholders.
Attention to detail and operational discipline in managing multiple enterprise accounts and coordinating with internal teams.
Strong communication and collaboration skills—able to partner effectively with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Data-driven mindset, using metrics and account analytics to forecast renewals, track usage trends, and identify growth potential.
Knowledge of distributed databases, mission-critical enterprise software, or cloud infrastructure is highly beneficial.
