Lead the hiring, training, and development of a high-performing sales team responsible for outside direct sales in a specific geographic area
Create and monitor sales plans to drive success against sales goals
Ensure your team of Account Executives excels
Increase market share and achieve and exceed performance targets related to subscribers, revenue, and churn
Meet or exceed overall sales quota for your assigned region
Implement key operational initiatives in the field while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards
Coordinate and run frequent sales meetings
Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful Account Executives
Conduct ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
4-7 years Verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience within a commissioned environment (Preferred)
2 Years People management responsibilities (Preferred)
2 Years Telecommunications/technical sales (Preferred)
Strong coaching skills with the ability to conduct difficult conversations (Required)
Talent to confidently make presentations to large groups as well as one on one (Required)
A proven track record of high yield business sales success (Required)
Well-honed negotiating and closing skills, including communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving (Required)
Familiarity with basic HR/Recruiting processes in order to attract and retain top sales talent (Required)
Proven leadership abilities, including inspiring and motivating teams, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a positive and productive work environment (Required)
