Leading and overseeing HR operations across the United States, Canada, and potentially additional countries within the region
Ensuring the effective and consistent delivery of high-quality, employee-focused HR services, while driving operational excellence and compliance with local regulations
Leadership and development of the regional People Operations team, setting clear priorities, fostering capability growth
Building a high-performing, service-oriented culture while being hands-on involved in the day-to-day business
Working in close partnership with the HR Business Partner for the US and Canada, as well as the wider People Team
Providing expert guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring their consistent application across the region
Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of HR strategies, policies, and processes, proactively identifying operational challenges and leading their resolution
Serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations on HR and people management matters
Supporting employees on a wide range of HR-related topics
Championing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance People processes, driving efficiency, consistency, and a positive employee experience across the region
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification, ideally in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, within a dynamic, international environment
Proven experience in leading or mentoring teams within an HR/People Operations context
Experience in IT services or professional services is preferred
Experience working within a US-public company is a plus
Strong knowledge of employment legislation across relevant jurisdictions, with the ability to apply this in a practical, business-oriented way
Solid understanding of HR policies, processes, and operational best practices, including personnel administration and HR systems
Experience working in international and multicultural environments, with the ability to navigate complexity and collaborate across geographies
Strong digital literacy, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HR systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
