Staff Accountant – Client Accounting Services

Role Overview

• Demonstrates the ability to code transactions to the appropriate accounts
• Reconciles client bank accounts including credit cards and investment accounts utilizing QuickBooks Online or applicable software
• Demonstrates proficiency in all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Prepares and enters journal entries in the client file
• Demonstrates proficiency in the preparation and processing of client payroll and payroll tax returns
• Successfully trains clients in QuickBooks Online usage
• Demonstrates proficiency in preparing Forms 1099 NEC and MISC
• Allocates client income and expenses using class tracking and/or job costing features
• Communicates with clients about their books and gathers any missing information
• Assists with departmental training and the documentation of processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline (four year college or university) or Accounting Certificate
• Two to four years related experience
• Public Accounting experience is a plus
• Proficiency with a Microsoft 365 environment, keyboard, mouse, multiple monitors, laptop computers, copiers, scanners, and printers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365 Applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, OneDrive, and Teams
• Quickbooks, CCHAxcess, IDEA, CCH Document, Adobe, Depreciation Solutions, and Caseware
