About this role
Role Overview
- Supervise catalyst filling operations at customer plant sites throughout China, including hands-on fieldwork.
- Provide start-up assistance following catalyst exchanges at customer facilities.
- Offer technical consultation on catalyst applications, including performance evaluation and optimization, accompanied by detailed technical reports.
- Conduct on-site measurements using specialized equipment.
- Prepare, update, and improve operational manuals and procedures to ensure best practices.
- Collaborate with local teams to exceed customer expectations and strengthen customer satisfaction.
- Maintain regular contact with customers, collecting, documenting, and uploading operational data to internal databases.
- Conduct on-site technical visits and virtual meetings as part of value-added service offerings.
- Ensure that service equipment is well maintained and manage procurement and shipment of necessary accessories.
Requirements
- University degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical plant operations with direct technical support responsibilities
- Familiarity with catalysts is desirable
- Proficiency in Chinese and English,
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) within China & options to travel outside China for global team meetings.
