Role Overview
Define and execute the overall marketing strategy for field crop products, ensuring alignment with business goals and revenue targets.
Lead product positioning, branding, and messaging to create strong differentiation in competitive markets.
Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, including product launches, campaigns, and seasonal promotions.
Drive demand generation initiatives through on-ground activations, farmer outreach programs, and channel engagement.
Leverage market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and refine marketing strategies.
Collaborate closely with sales, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing plans.
Build and manage strategic partnerships with distributors, agri-institutions, and other stakeholders to expand market reach.
Monitor and optimize marketing performance through defined KPIs, ensuring effective utilization of budgets and resources.
Lead digital and offline marketing initiatives, integrating modern tools and platforms to enhance customer engagement.
Mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
15+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within agriculture, agri-inputs, seeds, crop protection, or allied sectors.
Proven track record of leading large-scale marketing strategies and delivering measurable business growth.
Strong understanding of field crops, farmer behavior, and rural market dynamics in India.
Expertise in brand management, product marketing, and demand generation strategies.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills to translate insights into impactful actions.
Experience in managing both traditional and digital marketing channels effectively.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision and short-term execution.
