Role Overview
- Serve as a strategic legal advisor to executive, production, marketing and administrative teams
- Negotiate and draft complex contractual agreements
- Manage the intellectual property portfolio
- Handle disputes and pre-litigation matters
- Promote legal innovation and operational efficiency
- Support and mentor administrative staff and/or less experienced team members
Requirements
- Member of the Barreau du Québec or a qualified lawyer in another jurisdiction with 9–12 years of experience
- Experience in a law firm or in-house; ideally in entertainment or technology
- Strong knowledge of commercial law and intellectual property law
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong business acumen
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written)
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Enthusiastic about technology
- Strong organizational skills
