About this role
Role Overview
Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, including senior executives (C-suite).
Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and meet client needs.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations, etc.) to address client needs and ensure effective delivery of solutions.
Monitor account performance, analyze key metrics, and produce regular reports.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with key accounts, develop pricing proposals, and ensure profitability and mutual benefit.
Manage client concerns and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify risks and opportunities.
Coach and support other members of the account management team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in animal sciences, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales and/or marketing or a related field.
At least two (2) years’ experience leading initiatives or projects, with demonstrated accomplishments influencing outcomes without direct managerial authority.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Valid driver's license required.
French language proficiency required (for candidates based in Quebec only).
