Responsible for the success of technical aspects of projects won or allocated
Ensure the adequate contribution of mechanical engineering knowledge and project experience to the competencies and services
Provide specialized mechanical engineering expertise and oversee all technical aspects of the project (i.e. perform the role of a technical expert)
Develop and design mechanical systems, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, and fire protection systems
Implement and maintain quality assurance processes specific to mechanical engineering to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards
Conduct site inspections to verify the installation of mechanical systems and ensure they meet design specifications
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, architects, civil engineers, structural engineers and other stake holders to ensure seamless project execution and resolve any technical issue
Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on mechanical engineering aspects, gather feedback, and ensure their requirements are met
Ensure all mechanical engineering designs and implementations comply with relevant standards, local building code and regulations
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including mechanical design calculations and reports, equipment specifications, progress updates, and final project deliverables

Required
degree in an appropriate professional field
6+ years’ relevant professional/technical experience and/or specialization in buildings/industrial buildings
Experience in Data Centre or Telecommunications is preferred but not mandatory
Demonstrated leadership and team management ability
High level engineering consulting and client management skills
Experienced in the delivery of major and/or complex design projects to blue chip clients
Excellent communicator (in both English and Bahasa) with well-developed commercial, analytical and technical skills
Sense-making communication skills, being able to explain complex engineering designs and solutions to non-technical audiences
Experienced in delivering innovative and complex commercial building projects in a fast paced environment
Experience or interest in managing projects from strategic and detailed planning, concept and detailed design
