Has both technical and project management oversight of one or more projects
Provides direction and specific technical domain leadership and support in Health Informatics projects supporting our Federal Clients
Creates the project schedules, creates PERT and GANT charts for the period of performance, designs work breakdown structure and work packages.
Leads the team’s activities for successful project execution and timely deliverables.
Delegates work assignments to team members; monitors individual member’s productivity and collaborates with other Project Managers, Task Order members
Reports details of issues and risks to department ISO lead for entry into ISO database
Performs root cause analyses of problems
Mentors and coaches team members in their specific technical domain
Guides team through technical issues and challenges
Analyzes existing processes to see how improvements can be made
Coordinates production of high-quality monthly deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Requirements

5 years' experience in a technical project leadership role
Experience supporting Direct Secure Messaging in healthcare required
High level communication skills and ability to motivate and lead people
Technical problem-solving skills
Ability to develop project plans, implementation, start up and closeout of each project
PMP certification is highly desired or a plan to pursue the completion of the certificate.
A bachelor's degree or associate degree plus 2 years relevant experience, or 4 years relevant experience in a related technical field, Business, Healthcare related field, Clinical degree, Information Systems or another related scientific discipline is required.
