Role Overview
- Reports to the Manufacturing Unit Leader
- Responsible for process support activities toward attainment of departmental and plant goals
- Supports the Molding Manufacturing Unit's primary objectives
- Directs personnel in troubleshooting and maintenance of mold setting, process efficiency, and press preventive maintenance
- Works with Technical Leader to ensure proper spare parts are ordered
- Leads and supports molding capital improvement projects and execution activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Molding related subject
- 5 years of work experience in a molding environment preferred
- Knowledge of proper molding engineering practices
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing initiatives with an emphasis in continuous improvement.
- Molding process experience in areas preferred: Master Molder I, Mold press maintenance and troubleshooting, Injection molding process development.
