Drive technical accounting rigor: Lead purchase accounting for M&A activity, ensure compliance with healthcare-specific accounting standards, and manage audit readiness and support.
Implement process improvements: Develop and enforce SOPs, strengthen close checklists, and enhance documentation to boost accuracy and efficiency within a fragmented systems environment.
Lead and develop a small accounting team: Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to staff accountant and AP, fostering a proactive, solution-oriented culture.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with finance leadership and operational teams to support strategic initiatives, deliver financial insights, and scale finance functions alongside rapid business growth.
