Azure: Azure SQL Database, Azure Managed Instance, Cosmos DB
Actively monitor production environments, identifying performance degradation and availability risks
Work on an on-call rotation (mandatory)
Incidents & Support: Respond to incidents, performing rapid analysis, mitigation and resolution
Perform troubleshooting for performance issues, replication failures and outages
Lead and support root cause analyses (RCA)
Changes & Governance: Implement production changes via GMUD (Change Management), ensure safe execution of deployments and changes, traceability and compliance, and support rollbacks and contingency plans
Performance & Reliability: Perform query tuning, index adjustments, targeted optimizations, ensure valid and tested backups, recovery strategies (restore, failover), and support continuous improvements to environment stability
Security & Access: Manage database access (IAM, RBAC), permissions and credentials, ensuring compliance with internal policies and LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law)
Requirements
Experience as a DBA (mid-level), preferably in operations/support teams
Relational databases: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
Non-relational databases: MongoDB, DynamoDB or similar
